P. G. Wodehoouse was an English author and was considered one of the most widely read humorist of the twentieth century.

He was born in Guildford, UK on 15th October, 188. He had a happy teenage years at Dulwich College and later became a bank employee. He disliked his job and turned to writing. 

He died on 14th February, 1975 at Southampton, New York. 

His famous short stories are - 'Carry On", "Jeeves", "Man with Two Left Feet".
